The MIYABI Precision Dab Trailing Rig — 2 Hooks / Upper Snood + Trailing Snood was designed to favour a natural presentation as close to the bottom as possible. It combines a 40 cm upper snood with a 100 cm lower trailing snood, each ending in an Aberdeen hook.

This arrangement presents two baits differently on the same rig: one on a short snood and the other on a long trailing snood intended to fish close to the sand.

When should you choose the Trailing Rig?

This rig is particularly suited to beaches and sandy areas when flatfish are feeding on the bottom and a low, subtle presentation is preferred.

It is especially suitable when the current allows the 100 cm trailing snood to fish freely without tangling.

Recommended baits: lugworm, marine worms and thin strips of razor clam, sized to suit the hook.
