Two free snoods. A compact layout. A targeted presentation for whiting.

MIYABI Precision Whiting Flapper — 2 Hooks / 2 Free Snoods is a specialised surfcasting rig developed from the existing MIYABI 2 Hook Flapper design. It features two Aberdeen hooks and two independent free snoods of different lengths: 30 cm for the upper snood and 50 cm for the lower snood.

By presenting two natural baits at different positions along the rig body, this arrangement provides a straightforward alternative to the three-hook Whiting model. Its unclipped snoods allow bait to respond to the movement of the water when conditions permit.

Two Free Snoods — 30 cm and 50 cm

• 2 Aberdeen hooks: two natural baits presented simultaneously.
• Upper snood, 30 cm: a compact upper bait presentation.
• Lower snood, 50 cm: a slightly longer lower bait presentation.
• Free-snood Flapper layout: natural bait movement without casting clips.
• Target species: whiting in shore surfcasting.

This rig is intended for beaches and sandy areas when a simple two-hook presentation is preferred, and when current conditions allow both snoods to fish freely.

Recommended baits: lugworm, marine worms and narrow strips of fish or squid.

For three simultaneous bait presentations, choose the MIYABI Precision Whiting — 3 Hooks / 3 Free Snoods. For a more streamlined cast using clipped-down baits, choose the MIYABI Precision Whiting Distance — 2 Hooks / 2 Clipped-Down Snoods.
